Wilder Tactical Women’s Hitman Gear TruForm Belt Kit Review

Built for Women. Battle-Tested Under Pressure. Faith-Fueled Confidence on the Line.

Disclosure: Wilder Tactical provided this kit for review. All testing, opinions, and conclusions are our own.

Most competition belts are built for straight waistlines and “close enough” fit. That’s fine—until you put real movement, real pressure, and real competition on the line. Then the cracks show fast.

The Wilder Tactical Women’s Hitman Gear TruForm Belt Kit doesn’t pretend to be “unisex.” It’s purpose-built for women who move hard, train harder, and refuse to compromise performance for comfort. And when you’re stepping into pressure—whether that’s a Tactical Games Skirmish or just pushing yourself in training—gear that fits right matters. Stewardship matters. Excellence matters.

This kit was tested the only way that counts: under sweat, stress, and speed. My wife, Kelsey, ran this belt through her first Tactical Games Skirmish—high heart rate, awkward shooting positions, sled drags, sprinting, kneeling, prone, and everything in between. If it failed, it would fail fast. It didn’t.

This belt didn’t just hold up. It elevated her confidence on the line—and confidence changes performance.

Why the TruForm Belt Is Actually Different

Most “women’s” belts are just men’s belts sized down. The TruForm isn’t. It’s contoured to a woman’s natural waist-to-hip curve, which means:

  • Better weight distribution
  • Less digging into the hips
  • Less shifting during movement
  • More stability during reloads, transitions, and dynamic movement

This is the difference between fighting your gear and trusting your gear.

And trust matters. In competition—and in life—you don’t want distractions pulling your focus when the moment demands discipline and clarity.

What’s Included in the TruForm Full Belt Kit

This isn’t a starter kit that leaves you chasing accessories later. It’s a complete, competition-ready system:

Included in the Kit:

  • Women’s TruForm Inner Belt
  • Choice of buckle (Plastic, Fidlock V-Buckle, COBRA® FM, D-Ring COBRA® ProStyle)

Fit Options: Mid vs Full TruForm Belt

Not all body types move the same—and Wilder Tactical accounted for that.

  • Full TruForm: Apple, pear, hourglass
  • Mid TruForm: Rectangle, inverted triangle

Sizing covers XS–Large out of the box (pant size ~26–40), and the TruForm Full Belt Bridge extends sizing to XXL+ (sold separately).

This isn’t marketing fluff. This is a design that respects how women actually move.

The Nerd Stuff

  • 1.75” wide belt
  • Tegris inner core for structure
  • Lightweight laminate nylon
  • Screw-mounted attachment system
  • Colors: Black, Ranger Green, MultiCam, Black MultiCam, Nemesis

The screw-mount system deserves special mention. Once mounted, pouches don’t creep, wobble, or shift. Gear stays locked in—even under sprints and awkward barricade work. There are also a ton of options for how you want to mount the pouches.

Assembly & Mounting: Rock-Solid Without the Hot Spots

The belt assembles easily if you’ve ever run a two-piece competition belt. The screw-mount system uses smooth-facing hardware on the inside of the belt—so despite my initial concern, there were zero comfort issues. No rubbing, hot spots, and no pressure points during long sessions.

Kelsey angled her pistol mags forward for faster reloads. That flexibility matters. Your reload mechanics aren’t my reload mechanics—and this system respects that.

Real-World Performance: Tactical Games Tested

We didn’t baby this belt. Kelsey ran it through:

  • Bill drills
  • Sprinting between positions
  • Barricade work
  • Sled drags
  • Kneeling and prone transitions
  • Full Tactical Games Skirmish

Retention was rock-solid. No mags launched. No pouches walked loose. After dialing retention tension (yes, I overtightened them at first), reloads were smooth and consistent.

What stood out most wasn’t just stability—it was freedom of movement. She didn’t think about her belt. She trusted it. That’s the goal. When your mind is free, your performance sharpens.

Holster Setup: Movement Without Restriction

The Multi-Holster Platform paired cleanly with her Level-2 holster. The flexible leg strap is the unsung hero here—it moves with the stride instead of fighting it.

From sprints to kneeling to prone, the holster stayed planted without pinching, pulling, or shifting. That’s rare.

She ran it primarily with high-waisted leggings with belt loops for maximum stability. Over loop-less leggings, stability decreased slightly (as expected with any belt system), but performance stayed consistent.

Built for Women—Not Shrunk for Women

This is the heart of it. The Wilder Tactical Women’s Hitman Gear TruForm Belt Kit isn’t a men’s belt rebranded. It’s engineered for women who compete, train, and move aggressively.

That intentional design shows up in comfort, stability, and confidence. And confidence shows up on the clock.

To Make a Long Story Short

The Wilder Tactical Women’s Hitman Gear TruForm Belt Kit sets a new bar for women’s competition belts. It’s rugged, adjustable, and actually respects female anatomy—without compromising durability or performance.

If you’re serious about competition shooting, Tactical Games, USPSA, or hard training days, this belt isn’t just “nice to have.” It’s a smart investment in performance.

And from a faith-first perspective? Excellence honors God. Preparing well honors the calling to show up ready—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Gear that removes distractions lets you focus on the task set before you.

A big thank you to Wilder Tactical for giving PR2 Alpha, my wife, and me the chance to put this kit through its paces.

End Result: This is one of the best women’s competition belt systems on the market right now—full stop.
